The institute houses a specialized library dedicated to Islamic thought, particularly focusing on Ibadi thought and the culture of M’zab, in collaboration with the Sheikh Abi Ishaq Ibrahim Tfayyesh Association. The library contains thousands of scientific materials, references in Arabic and other languages such as English and French, dissertations, peer-reviewed articles, newspaper articles, Orientalist studies, and more. The scientific material covers various disciplines such as Islamic law, sociology, urbanism, history, and civilization.
The library strives to promote mutual understanding, and cultivate recognition among the diverse elements of Algerian society, all within the framework of a cohesive national identity.
Library Services:
- The “Al-Rustami” open indexing software, which allows detailed searches in book indexes (soon to be linked to the website).
- Exclusive digital library available at the institute premises.
- Internet access service.
- Facilitation of manuscript copies in collaboration with the Sheikh Abi Ishaq Association.
